Monday night, as Julie and I were finishing up the evening tasks after the last feeding, we heard noises coming across the monitor. At first our reaction was, “Oh, no. Max is awake and he is not going to bed anytime soon!” We were then pleasantly surprised to hear an exchange of words, or what passes for words in the nursery. Max was hooting in a very calm way. Daniel was answering with squeaks and sighs. This went on for a few minutes until, I assume, they both talked themselves to sleep. Continue reading
